<p>If you keep throwing out enough balls, the universe will eventually provide you with a home run.<br />
Think about all those times that you did not know what to do or how you would reach your goals. But somehow you did not give up and kept taking action and did not sit on your couch to moan and fall apart.</p>
<p>Well that is the key for me to achieve those desires and mental pictures of what I want.<br />
You do not have to know what exactly to do, just do little things, keep on moving, show up and throw out those balls.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0981460240?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=positrulesher-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=0981460240" target="_blank">Mike Dooley</a> is the one that really clarified this for me in his book  <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0743571398?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=positrulesher-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=0743571398" target="_blank">Leveraging the Universe</a>.</p>
<p>I tend to get paralyzed by my fear and get blocked. Well now despite the fear, I still take little actions.<br />
Do some research on the web, connect with people on Facebook,  go to the park for a walk, clean out your fridge, call someone for help or ideas and the list goes on and on….</p>
<p>Just keep on taking action.</p>
<p>Another author, my favorite, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/9562914011?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=positrulesher-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=9562914011" target="_blank">Wallace Wattles</a> has almost 3 chapters in his book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TS0FJM?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=positrulesher-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=B002TS0FJM" target="_blank">Science Of Getting Rich</a> about taking action. So I figured there must be something right about it.</p>
<p>I have to admit, I am one of those people who says positive things and affirmations to myself, holds a clear mental picture of what I want in my mind, blocks out all the external negative influences.</p>
<p>But my biggie is BELIEF and FAITH.</p>
<p>How do I believe that what I am visualizing  and affirming for is true and how do I have unwavering faith that it will become reality.</p>
<p>Well I know now that even though I do not always believe my affirmations or the visualizations  I am thinking,  I can still keep on taking little actions.<br />
And that is what I do and it helps me get out of the paralysis of fear.</p>
<p>So, instead of &#8220;<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000001FDK?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=positrulesher-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=B000001FDK" target="_blank">Grease</a>&#8221; is the word, sing to yourself &#8220;ACTION&#8221; is the word.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So I have decided to start changing my subconscious beliefs about wealth and abundance and want to retrain myself.<br />
And the way I am going to do this is by saying, writing, thinking, meditating  and focusing on the following sentence: &#8220;I AM PROSPERITY&#8221;.<br />
I have started saying it in my mind for 2 days now. But today January 18 is the official start date and I have committed to do this exercise for 7 days straight.</p>
<p>I will say  &#8220;I AM PROSPERITY&#8221; 100 times a day to myself, 3 times a day. Additionally I will write it down 100 times, 3 times a day.</p>
<p>And I have to be honest, even though I just started this I already feel a lightness and love that I now have a replacement thought every time my mind wonders to worry or stress or obsess about something. I can now stop that immediately and replace with my new thought   &#8220;I AM PROSPERITY&#8221;.</p>
<p>Well that&#8217;s it for now but I will keep posting my progress and sensations during the next 7 days here.</p>

<p>You only possess one mind, but it has 2 totally different<span id="more-345"></span> functions - and the names generally used to distinguish these 2 different functions are as follows.</p>
<p>1,  The Conscious Mind</p>
<p>2,  The Subconscious Mind</p>
<p>There are many other terms used. But the 2 listed above, are the ones used most to represent the 2 main functions of your mind.</p>
<p>To help us better understand the conscious and subconscious mind, they may be compared to a tree and its roots…</p>
<p>•    You’re conscious mind being the tree, which helps you with daily situations like, decision-making, rational thinking, or just simply figuring out what to do and how best to do it.</p>
<p>When we think of ‘me’ we think of our conscious mind, the mind of which we are fully aware.  This part of the mind makes decisions for us and directs our activities; it also analyzes, criticises and even commands us.</p>
<p>•    You’re subconscious mind being the roots; it deals mostly with the repetitions of learned behaviour.  This can be very helpful for you, as it enables you to deal with situations much more easily the next time they arise.</p>
<p>Whatever we see, hear, smell, taste, touch or feel passes through the conscious mind and reaches the subconscious mind where it is stored.</p>
<p>Once you have learned how best to deal with the situation you find it much easier the next time around… this is because you are using information which is already stored.</p>
<p>For instance, once you have learned to ride a bike you don’t have to consciously think about it anymore.  This is because the stored information will come to you automatically the next time you get on your bike to ride it.</p>
<p>Just as if you were to learn where each letter on your keyboard is - you can now type without looking because you have formed a mental picture in your subconscious mind, of what the keyboard actually looks like.</p>
<p>The above are only two instances (of how the subconscious mind stores up relations of learned behaviour) and we are sure you would be able to find many more examples of this in your everyday life!</p>
<p>Information from the conscious mind gets past into the subconscious mind, and there is a very strong link between the two.  It is said that everything you have ever seen, heard and experienced is perceived by your conscious mind, and then stored away into your subconscious mind as a memory.</p>
<p>Not only is this memory stored as the incident itself, but also any feelings which went with it at the time are also stored.</p>
<p>Your subconscious mind does not only store your memories and feelings.  It is the maker of all the great ideas you have ever had, and is also the seat of your intuition and creativeness…</p>
<p>Your subconscious also keeps you going without you even being aware of it.  It takes care of your bodily functions – your heart beat, and automatically runs such activities as, movement, language, visual perception and a whole host of other processes of your mind and body for you.</p>
<p>It also scans your mind for conflict and distress; assesses your environment for danger and threats, and relays and interprets perceptions, sensations, and feeling… last but not least it is also the storehouse of all your experience and decisions – everything which makes you the person you are.</p>

<p>In today&#8217;s rat race, it is ever more important to be on top of your game and have a &#8216;I can do this&#8217; attitude to take on the challenges of life. Like most things a positive attitude is not something that occurs overnight. Much like you dedicate time every week to lifting weights in order to<span id="more-334"></span> build your physical body, you must dedicate time to build your mental body.</p>
<p>In this article, I will give you 3 ways to help you create a positive attitude.</p>
<p>1 - The Social Factor</p>
<p>The truth of the matter is - the people you choose to be with the majority of your time influence how you behave the most If most of your friends are sorry sods it is more than likely that over time you will share the same glum attitude they possess.</p>
<p>The solution?</p>
<p>Be outgoing. Go and seek out people whom you believe will be a positive influence on your life. This could be people on your local sports team or your siblings. What you want to learn from them is the way in which they have developed their attitudes and behaviours</p>
<p>2 - The Human Constant</p>
<p>Another matter of truth - We as people subconsciously devote efforts to making our picture of reality constant. This is why we build psychological resistance to change.</p>
<p>So how do we make use of this?</p>
<p>Make a positive attitude a constant factor in your life! A vision board is a large board you can place in your room or office where you make a collage of the things that comprise your vision. For example, if you want to develop a positive attitude, you might place pictures of people with healthy attitudes you want to role model or strategies you want to implement to make your goal a reality. Also, you can put post-it notes everywhere, reminding you of your goal and keeping it a constant in your life; in your car, on your desk, on the kitchen bench, everywhere! For example, the post it note could read: &#8216;I have a positive attitude&#8217;</p>
<p>3 - Mind Monitoring</p>
<p>The third way to develop a useful attitude is to have positive self talk. This means keeping watch of your train of thought. If you have a lot of negative thoughts like &#8216;I&#8217;m not good enough and &#8216;I&#8217;m useless&#8217; its time to give your brain a shakeup. Focus on disrupting negative thought patterns and replacing these with positive or motivational patterns.</p>
<p>To further combat your negativity, whenever you find yourself talking negatively, cut that as well. Replace it with a positive or neutral topic or say nothing at all.</p>

<p>Praise is the power in the training of your dog. In training, it is to be applied in liberal doses, at any and all opportunities. It is used when the dog does something right, and when he does something wrong. Don&#8217;t fall into the &#8220;easy&#8221; solution of giving him tidbits or snacks<span id="more-332"></span> as rewards for his performance. The food will work, but eventually it will have to stop and then you&#8217;ve got a problem.</p>
<p>Praise when he does right needs little explanation. When he is first learning, give him praise when he has done something, even if you have had to guide, shove and haul him into it every step of the way. All the work in the beginning stages may have been yours but praise him as though he&#8217;d done something colossal. When he gets an idea of what you want and tries it experimentally, praise him to the skies.</p>
<p>Praise him with your voice, telling him &#8220;Good Boy!&#8221; and &#8220;Good Dog!&#8221; and even &#8220;Well done.&#8221; This is one case where there is no reason to stick to a single word or phrase &#8211; the tone of your voice will tell him all he wants to know. And praise him with your hands. Pat him, stroke him, fondle him, and scratch him. But let him have your touch as a reward and assurance that all is well.</p>
<p>Praising him when he has done something wrong may be a bit harder to understand, but it is perhaps more essential than praise for good work. It follows a good constructive correction first to straighten out whatever he has or hasn&#8217;t done. Then use praise to take his mind off the fact that is was you who did the correcting. The correction must always in the dog&#8217;s mind be a natural outgrowth of the wrong,, or of the failure to perform whatever is wanted.</p>
<p>When you correct him, come in immediately with praise; it lets him know that you are still on his side, still love him, and that all is well in the world. Correction, done fairly and firmly, will earn you his undying respect, if followed by praise and unaccompanied by any display of displeasure or lack of affection. Take this as another firm and basic rule of training &#8211; always praise after correction.</p>
<p>Play is important in training too. While he will probably never think of it as an actual reward, the play will establish completely friendly relations between you. While the training period should be kept businesslike, the play puts things back on the right footing &#8211; he will forget about the corrections, but the lessons will still be there.</p>

<p>19.  The Importance Of Exchanging Energy</p>
<p>Everything around us is energy. Our universe, the planet we are living on, everything that lives on our planet, the chair we are sitting on, the clothes we are wearing, the glass we are drinking from, the substance that&#8217;s in the glass,<span id="more-320"></span> the car we are driving, the people we meet; in short, everything is energy.</p>
<p>Our own energy is the energy that specifically belongs to us as an individual. Continuously we tend to give that away to others, to other things, to interests, to meetings with others, to places, to books, to films, etc. Very often we tend to give our energy away to others when we express certain words or phrases. &#8220;I love you&#8221; is a good example hereof. Besides we ourselves often tend to pick up energies from others.</p>
<p>In contrast to nature we humans constantly tinker in each other&#8217;s energy field and in this way we try to influence or manipulate others. Have you ever seen a rosy tree or a treelike rose? However we do see many, many people, who live under the strong influence of a certain person or certain people around them. They don&#8217;t live their own life, but they live the life of how someone else wants them to live.</p>
<p>Therefore it is important that we do an energy exchange on a regular basis, meaning that after intense contact with another person or after putting energy into something or someone, we ask our own energy back and we give back the ones we picked up.</p>
<p>The best method to do this is by means of a short meditation, during which we visualize the energy exchange. This is also beneficial for the development of the right hemisphere of the brain, which at such moments balances with the left hemisphere of the brain.</p>
<p>Enjoy these self motivation tips that will help you to become an expert in exchanging energy. With self motivation exercise you create self motivation skills and ultimately it will help you to see from the inside out what happens in your energy field.</p>
<p>Meditation:</p>
<p>Close your eyes and start to breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth. (if you learn to do this on a regular basis it will positively stimulate your ability to let go)</p>
<p>1. From your 1st chakra get in touch with your gro<br />
1000<br />
unding-cord and feel how it goes all the way down to the centre of the Earth. Say to yourself 3 times: &#8220;I let go of everything I don&#8217;t need anymore&#8221; and feel how everything you are letting go is moving down your grounding-cord into the centre of the Earth.</p>
<p>2. Ask your energy field or aura to come closer (at approx. 50 cm from your body) and visualize this in front of you, in the back of you, at your sides, above you and beneath you. </p>
<p>3. Give the energy in your aura any colour you wish and gather all the other colours that are in it in a ball in front of your heart, and say twice: &#8220;All energy that is not mine, gather in a ball in front of my heart&#8221;. Gather all that energy in 4 breaths and remember to look well behind you and beneath you, too.</p>
<p>4. Lovingly and respectfully push the ball outside your aura with your left hand and say: &#8220;I lovingly send you back to wherever you come from&#8221;. (This energy knows exactly where it comes from. If a certain colour should not disappear, it is you that&#8217;s holding on to it.)</p>
<p>5. Next, with all the strength you have inside of you, ask your own energy back by repeating twice: &#8220;All energy that I left elsewhere, come back to me now&#8221;. Calmly breath it into your pelvis in 4 breaths and feel how it fills you up again. </p>
<p>6. Humbly ask Mother Earth to send you crystal energy up your grounding-cord and let it go passed your 1st chakra, up your spine, passed your other chakra&#8217;s and let it flow out your 7th (crown)chakra like a fountain, so that it refreshes your whole aura. <br />
(Again feel how the fountain of crystal energy flows through your aura in front of you, at both sides of you and behind you)</p>
<p>7. Always finish such meditation, just before you open your eyes, with 3 short and loud exhalations (pfff, pfff, pfff). This helps you to be totally &#8220;aware&#8220; afterwards.</p>

<p>Self improvement and Positive Thinking are mantra&#8217;s you frequently get told about by Self Help Gurus&#8217;s. In fact you are possibly BORED STIFF of hearing about them. But nevertheless,<span id="more-315"></span> thinking bigger, bolder and brighter is a good place to kickstart our quest to discover exactly what a success mindset constitutes. And more importantly, how YOU can get one for yourself!
<p>In this article I am going to discuss the Success Mindset and how it has the power to change your life. Hypey sounding? No doubt. But true nevertheless. Successful people still have two arms, legs and eyes. So the fundamental differences are not physical. We all know of people (Like Christopher Reeves for example), who have every right to feel sorry for themeselves. In a wheelchair. Paralysed from the neck down. Yet he carried on raising enormous amounts for charity. Starred in a film remake of the Hitchcock Classic &#8216;Rear Window&#8217;, and wrote his autobiography. All from his wheelchair! Never a better example of &#8216;If you get given a lemon. Make lemonade&#8217; has been illustrated. So, instead of bitching. Stand up and make the best of whatever your situation is. The success mindset starts exactly there. In the mind. So start seeing the obstacles as opportunities. You may as well smile when its raining. Because frowning isn&#8217;t gonna close up the clouds! </p>
<p>Reading inspirational books and literature is a great way to start to help you to improve your personal attitude and heal your mind. A book of success stories can also prove to be encouraging to you when things get &#8216;challenging&#8217;. You will not only learn from others&#8217; experiences and derive confidence boosting insights from them. But the advice and lessons can also be instrumental in motivating you to actively pursue your goals and to move ahead with your plans. &#8216;Chicken Soup for the Soul&#8217; is a great book in this area. Or equally books by Tony Robbins like &#8216;Unleash the Power Within&#8217; are also great.</p>
<p>Oftentimes, not knowing how or where to start is frustrating. And with self improvement, just like any &#8217;skill&#8217;. Knowledge is power when it comes to success. So having a clear understanding of how and where to start is empowering and can provide the extra drive YOU NEED to hit the goals you are aiming at and follow through with ACTION (the cornerstone of any success mindset comes from taking action consistently and with passion). </p>
<p>As self improvement advice is often free and literally is scattered around everywhere in newspapers, magazines, books, courses and on televsion.</p>
<p>You might then think that the world would be a self-improvement mecca, and that there would be no problems regarding life, happiness and success? Hmmm &#8216;fraid not ;0). The fact is that this is life. And it does not work that way. Advice on how to improve your life, relationships and finances may be everywhere. But solutions that work have to be carefully thought through. And more importantly, they have to be acted upon and be SPECIFIC for your situation.</p>
<p>The &#8216;Success Mindset&#8217; is more then Guru speak for getting pumped up. It is all about laying down achievable goals and then following through.
